We Bring Together
HR Leaders From Across Adventist Healthcare Organizations
National Association of Adventist Healthcare Human Resources
The National Association of Adventist Healthcare Human Resources (NAAHHR) was created to bring together HR leaders from across Adventist healthcare organizations.
Our Annual Conference, along with other healthcare and HR industry gatherings, provides the opportunity for us to collaborate and network with one another. This website offers an additional resource for sharing valuable news and updates on tools, technologies, vendors and more.

2016 – Dallas, Texas
Thanks to our Corporate and System sponsors we were able to have several excellent speakers including Joel Bishop who spoke on Great Work and each person received a copy of the book as well. On Saturday the group enjoyed a tour of Dallas during the day featuring highlights including bulls and the area where JFK was assassinated. In the evening we dined on Tex Mex and attended the rodeo. We had a team who chose to cheer for the cowboys and one team cheered for the bulls and cows. A fun time was had by all.
2015 – Orlando, Florida
Attendees appreciated the NAAHHR conference in sunny Florida surrounded by the excitement associated with Disney. We enjoyed some great food along and the Networking opportunities to catch up with old friends and connect with new ones. HR Author/speaker Jack Smalley returned to share some key principles of successful leadership while Human-Ex CEO Brad Black spoke about managing our human talent. We laughed while speaker Kathleen Gibney shared insights to emotional health and laughter in the workplace and then Lance Richards led us on an educational journey on how to understand and retain the multi-generational workforce. Disney’s Mickey Mouse also stopped by for some pictures with the group. The adventurous folk participated in a canoe ride on Saturday and we wrapped up our weekend with some great Mexican food and entertainment at Antojitos.
